Small, simple, off the beaten track place with GREAT food. Had the bochechas (cheeks) and the churrasquinho (barbecue) both amazing. All costumers were amazed by the food. Prices around 10 euros per dish

Stumbled across this small restaurant when walking around the town. We knew we had to try it as there was just something simple about it. Food was outstanding! We ordered Garlic grilled prawns, olives, bread, Portugese steak and home cooked fries.The prawns came with a big tomato salad. So tasty and generous portions. Really good value for money. The Honey flan dessert was soo good that we ordered 1 more to take away. Can't recomend enough, it was my fav meal whilst walking the Fisherman's Trail. The few tables that were there all seemed to be enjoying their meals too and there was some nice ambient music playing.

The little restaurant is easy to miss from the outside. "Take Away" is a bit confusionig because it is a proper restaunrant.There is only space for ca. 16 people in total (i counted the seats). The staff is extraordinaryly friendly and speaks English.The food is traditionally Portuguese and delicious. The prices are fair as well compared to the other restaurants in the town.I recommend especially these dishes:- Homestyle Codfish- grilled Lamb Chops- Duck Breast with Orange

I don’t know where to start .. the service is just amazing. We came spontaneous and we had to wait 15 minutes. But the owner didn’t let us wait dry. We could have a beer outside and wait with our drinks. After they served such amazing food !! So good wow. The meat is amazing. Everything is so fresh. And the workers are so kind. I can highly recommend this restaurant. Very good Food and low prices. Very cheap for this good food. Amazing. I will come back :)

Always excellent food and service at this neighborhood restaurant. The staff work very well as a team so everything is clear and efficient - regardless of your language abilities.And always affordable.Highly recommend!

Good food and great service.Pure genuine humble people that offer the best they have.You can go to the more fancy tourist bait places around the village, but you will not feel the authentic care of Portuguese food.the prices are fairly reasonable (less than 30 for two person) and for sure eat well.the place is small and does not accept bank cards (there is an ATM machine less than 5 minutes walking distance).The meat is very tasty and the fish looks very fresh.If you can in advance a few special dishes will also be available.
